Setting a name for your org is an easy way to make it more discoverable and human-readable. You can set a name via the Radicle web client, app.radicle.network.
First, navigate to your org's page. You can do so by searching for the org address on app.radicle.network or going to the custom org URL:
If you are a member/owner of the org, you should should see a button next to the Name field that says Set.
Once you click set, you can input the name that you'd like to set to this org.
To set a name, you must update the name registration to resolve to the address of the org. To do so, copy the address of the org, and navigate to the name registration page. You can find this page by searching for the name on app.radicle.network or going to the custom name URL:
Update the registration record by adding the org address to the Address field.
If you haven't done this, you will come across this error:
If correctly configured, setting the name will submit a transaction to your wallet (and Gnosis Safe if it's a multi-signature org).
Once the transaction succeeds, the data associated with the name registration will populate in your org page. This may take a view moments.
Once it does, you're all set! Anchor some projects and share your org with the world!
